Selena Gomez has bared the flesh in her new shoot with V Magazine and made to look way younger than her age.
The 22-year-old’s revealing shoot has been branded as reminiscent of Lolita with many fans calling it inappropriate as they believe she has been purposely made to look younger than her years.
One commenter simply wrote: ‘She looks like a child!’
Accompanying the controversial shoot was an interview with Selena, she took the opportunity to open up about her past romances.
Seemingly referring to on/off ex Justin Bieber, she admitted she has learned from her previous relationships.
Speaking in the spring issue, she told V Magazine 94: “I think the next time [I have a boyfriend] will be much different…which will definitely not be anytime soon.
“That’s a growing up kind of thing. I was 18 years old, and it was my first love. The older I get, I’m guarding certain things more.”
Come & Get It singer Selena opened up about the challenges she faced with the unnamed ex-lover, admitting it felt like “the world was against” them.
She added: “When you’re young and you’re being told so many different things…it almost felt like all we had was each other, like the world was against us, in a way.
“It was really weird but it was incredible.”
Despite this, the star has no regrets and is determined to learn from any mistakes she may have made.
“I would never take it back in a million years,” she said. “You live and you learn, you know?”
