This Mandela Day (18 July, 2019) Springfield Value Centre presented primary school learners from Springfield Model Primary School with paint, to spruce up their class rooms based on the most needed item requested by the head of the school.

Over and above their donation, the team also co-ordinated 67-minute talks from the Refocus and Upliftment Foundation (R.A.U.F) team. The lessons main objective was to educate the learners about the dangers of substance abuse and encouraging the youngers not to fall into the trap due to their circumstance. Apart from the learners gaining invaluable knowledge, they also enjoyed snacks provided by Springfield Value Centre who also provided some kid fun activities including that of an inflatable jumping castle. These initiatives are a continuation from last year when the centre refurbished the school’s playground. All the students departed with a positive attitude, and voiced their gratitude for all the donations and the fun day.
