Every time I think of serving lamb, I often anticipate hours and hours of slaving on the stove. As luck would have it our favorite chef has sent a very easy to follow recipe that will have you eating dinner within minutes.
Coming to think of it, I am extremely excited to try it out.
Sticky lamb chops!!
Serve them with your favorite sides (it could be baked potato or mashed potatoes and a side salad).
Marinade recipe for the chops
10 medium
size lamb chops
4 tbsp steers monkey gland sauce
2 tbsp steers spicy tikka sauce
2 tbsp
soya sauce
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tbs fresh chopped thyme and rosemary
2 tsp Robertsons garlic and rosemary spice
1 tbsp olive oil
Add salt if necessary but the Robertson spices
should have enough salt
Method
Brush the chops with the fresh herbs and garlic & rosemary spice.
In a bowl, whisk all the sauces, lemon juice and minced garlic.
Transfer the chops into the marinade, making sure that the chops are well coated with the marinade
Marinate for 1hr to 24hours. I marinated mine overnight
Heat oil in a char-griller pan or normal non-stick pan. Pan grill the chops 8 to 10 minutes on each side, depending on your preference. Baste the chops with what’s left of the marinade just before removing from the pan.
