Tamar Braxton has withdrawn from her trip to South Africa due to ill health.
Tamar was announced as a headline act for the upcoming BET Experience next month, but after being hospitalised with blood clots in her lungs, Tamar had to cancelled her entire US tour as well as her trip to SA.
On Friday the show’s organisers announced that Tamar will no longer be making the trip to Mzansi.
“Tamar Braxon will be unable to attend the BET Experience Africa owing to ill health. BET & Glen 21 apologise for any disappointment caused, but we know that Tamar’s fans will recognise the importance of giving her the space and time to return to full health,” the statement read.
Mary J Blige became the latest big name to join the already impressive BET Experience Africa lineup.
The lineup includes Maxwell, Raphael Saadiq, Young Thug, AKA, Flavour, Diamond Platnumz, Nathi, Black Motion, DJ Euphonik and Monique Bingham.
