Tasha Smith, who has appeared in a number of big- and small-screen Tyler Perry projects, must stay at least 2 yards away from husband Keith Douglas while they’re in their home, according to a temporary restraining order obtained by Douglas against his wife of nearly four years last week.
“Court declines move out order pending hearing,” is the scrawled explanation as to why part of Douglas’ petition was granted and part has been so far denied. The hearing is scheduled for Nov. 24 at 8:30 a.m.
When Smith is not at home, she must stay at least 100 yards away from Douglas, his car and his work, according to the petition.
The couple, who tied the knot in December 2010.
In the filing, Douglas alleges that Smith came home on Nov. 2 after being gone for four days and demanded that he leave the house, or else she would get “people to come in and hurt me to get me out of the house.” She “pushed me and to avoid any further physical conflicts I left and locked myself in a different room. I called the police in order to find out what to do next, in turn they advised I get a restraining order.”

On Oct. 29, prior to that alleged incident, Douglas states in the filing that they were having dinner out for his birthday when she drank an excessive amount and “started threatening me in front of our kids saying she will ‘f–k me over’ and ‘she knows people to take care of me.'” They left immediately, his statement continues, after which she yelled at him all the way home and advised him to “‘not fall asleep or something will happen.'”
He alleged that Smith had emptied and closed their bank accounts, preventing him from being able to acquire any money.
“I fear for my own life as well as the living environment that our daughter has to see due to excessive amount of arguments we have over the course of the past two years,” Dougals stated.
