Two SA powerful entertainers, Tbo Touch and Gareth Cliff are launching SA first ever online music channel called Touch Central.
The grand announcement was made by Touch and Gareth at a swanky breakfast held at a floating sky restaurant.
Touch Central will become the country’s first ever 24- hour online music channel, which will be free to subscribers. The new online radio stream will have a major focus on local music.
Speaking at the media breakfast briefing, Touch said that the venture between him and Gareth is “the future.”
“We have the opportunity to create something amazing. Gareth and I weren’t friends. We saw each other in the hallway but I’ve been watching him and this is the future,” said Touch.
Touch added that he’s excited to make a jump of what he calls a “quantum leap.”
Touch will host the daily drive time show on Touch Central every weekday from 3pm until 7pm. The name of his show remains as The Touchdown.
Touch Central is set to launch in a month’s time, with a live countdown already set on the website.
