Tbo Touch may have landed himself in hot water at Metro FM for allowing his emotions to interfere with work, after the DJ snubbed rapper Cassper Nyovest on his show.
Tbo Touch on Monday Touchdown refused to do a telephonic interview with Cassper Nyovest.
The rapper, who was scheduled to do an interview in studio, couldn’t make it because he was busy shooting a music video with the Mahotella Queens.
Instead of interviewing him over the phone, Touch made a big deal out of the situation and said there would be no interview with Cassper.
Sunday World has reported that the SABC is investigating the matter, and might take disciplinary action against Touch.
The broadcaster’s spokesperson, Kaizer Kganyago, said: “You must understand the interviews are for the station, not Tbo Touch. We are aware of the incident and it’s a matter we’re dealing with internally.”
Touch’s PR team told the publication: “At this stage, Touch has requested that rapper Cassper follow the correct procedures to address any matter he has with Touch and allow for due process to take place.”
