[full]Zindzi Mandela’s son Zondwa Mandela and his longterm girlfriend Lindo Zici reportedly tied the knot on Valentine’s Day.
Their traditional Xhosa wedding took place last year in Qunu, but the couple reportedly signed their marriage papers at Home Affairs in Soweto and then celebrated at The Saxon Hotel in Sandhurst on Valentine’s Day last week
A guest explained that the couple chose Soweto as the location to try and avoid media attention.
“The Mandela family has been topical lately, so the family wanted some peace and quiet,” the guest said to Sunday Sun.
It was reported that only “close friends and family” attended the private affair which included sisters Zindzi and Zoleka Mandela in attendance
A guest told the paper that the couple chose Valentine’s Day as it meant a lot to them and it’s “a romantic day”
“It was such a beautiful experience. They both looked happy and madly in love,” they explained.[/full]
