South African-based comedian ‘The Napsta’ is on a quest to break the stereotypes that Africans cannot live without meat. Be part of his reflection on his journey and personal challenges faced as he attempts to convert to veganism.
Challenges like understanding the difference between being vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, and flexitarian. And let’s not forget breaking the news to his mom that he can no longer enjoy her 7 colors Sunday meals, and trying to find vegan-friendly chesa nyama’s (barbecues) in the township. The Black Vegan is a hysterical and informative show that breaks stereotypes, celebrates diversity and educates one on the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
