The Real Housewives of Lagos Season 2 is now streaming on Showmax in sub-Saharan Africa, with new episodes every Friday. Showmax subscribers in Africa* will have the first look at all the drama, fashion, and extravagance that this season has to offer.
The franchise, which began in 2006 with The Real Housewives of Orange County, has become a pop culture staple, with legions of fans across the world. The new season of The Real Housewives of Lagos includes two new Housewives who are both former models – fashion entrepreneur Tania Omotayo and socialite Faith Morey – who will fit right in with the OGs from the first season. Returning cast members include Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Lawani Adebayo, Chioma Ikokwu, Laura Ikeji-Kanu and Mariam Timmer, who all made a splash in the first season.
Speaking on what to expect this season, Tiwa Medubi, Managing Director at Livespot 360, who produces the show, said, “All I am going to say is that episode one is all the sneak peek you need. There was the highest level of fashion, friendship, and bickering because that is what happens when you put people in the same space. But most of all, these women allowed us into the vulnerable parts of their lives”.
The show follows the success of The Real Housewives of Durban, which broke all previous first-day viewing records and claimed the top spot on the streaming service at the time of its launch in 2021.
