Proving why Mbombela is one of the firm favourite entertainment destinations in the Lowveld, guests can look forward to seeing two popular South African acapella bands – The Soil and Thee Legacy –team up to entertain fans at Tsogo Sun’s Emnotweni on Friday, 26 April 2019 at The Arena.

The award-winning Thee Legacy, which gained fame when they won the inaugural Sing Off South Africa in 2015, is made up of five members from KwaZulu-Natal. Their distinctly South African isicathamiya (Zulu-type acapella) style has seen them harness their voices as their sole instruments to create hit tunes such as Feels so Good, Wena Wedwa and S’thandwa Sami.

The Soil, a three-member acapella group from Soweto, has been entertaining audiences with their unique sound since 2003. In 2011, the musicians released their first, self-titled album, which went platinum. This was followed by five more albums, some of which have featured local music legends like the Grammy award-winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo and multi-award-winning hip hop artist, Khuli Chana. They will be serenading fans with all-time favourites such as Joy, Baninzi, Sunday, Iinkomo and Sedilaka.

“Guests are in for an incredible treat when these two talented groups take to the stage and perform their hits from the last two decades. We can’t wait to see everyone moving and enjoying their music,” says Emnotweni’s Complex General Manager, Adam Macintyre.

Tickets for the show can be purchased at a cost of R180 per person from www.emnotweni.co.za, or Computicket with discounts of up to 20% available for Rewards cardholders. Doors open at 19h00 and the show is set to start at 20h00.

Coming up in May at Emnotweni is Afrikaans comedy mash up show – ‘Alle Grappies op n stokkie’ – with  Alfred Adriaan as MC, Hannes Brummer and Melt Sieberhagen. For more information on other upcoming promotions, visit: https://www.tsogosun.com/emnotweni-casino.
