The Soirée: Festive Edition Postponed to February 2025 Due To Weather Conditions
The highly anticipated Stella Artois Soirée: Festive Edition, an event that inspires friends and family to come together over the festive season, has been postponed owing to adverse weather conditions setting in over Gauteng this week. The Soirée was scheduled to take place at Toadbury Hall outside Johannesburg on Saturday, December 21st.
The decision was taken after considering the safety of event attendees and reviewing all data with a weather expert in the area. The weather forecast predicts rain throughout the week, including during setup, with thunderstorms expected on event day.
“We have been watching the weather closely for a few days and have made the tough decision to postpone The Soirée on December 21st. We understand the inconvenience this may cause but the safety of our guests and crew is our top priority. Due to the nature of the venue, the rain will also cause the site to be muddy, which will not deliver the premium experience that the Stella Soiree is known for. While we can’t host The Soirée, we hope everyone connects with friends and family over this festive season for moments worth more,” says Estee Burger, Marketing Manager for Stella Artois.
