TV presenter and actress Tsholo Maseko bravely took to the streets topless to show off the beauty of the Ndebele culture during the filming of an upcoming production set to release in May.
The movie‚ which is directed by renowned film director Ndumiso Sibanda‚ aims to highlight the Ndebele culture.
The popular SABC1 talk show presenter admitted that before she embarked on the project‚ she was a bag of mixed emotions.
“I won’t lie I had never been more terrified in my life. Angazi why ngoba mina la ngibuya khona this is the most beautiful you can be‚” Tsholo said in a social media post.
Reflecting on the journey Tsholo explained that surprisingly men that she encountered made her feel confident and beautiful‚ instead of a “piece of meat.”
“I have lived in a world where people (mostly men) will either walk straight into you or grab you. But not on this day. I felt like a human and not a piece of meat. I wanna look and feel like this everyday‚ but does the world I live in have a place for this kind of beautiful or this kind of confidence?”
