Indian artists to perform on SA soil to celebrate the life & times of two musical legends
For the first time at the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace, the life and times of legends, Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar, will be commemorated in a dynamic musical showcase on the 8th of May.

Mohammed Rafi, a popular Indian playback singer from the Hindi film industry, was notable for his voice and versatility. The amazing singer from India, Mohd. Ayaz, will be the voice of Rafi, performing a range of fan-favourites from the classical numbers to patriotic songs to the highly romantic hits, qawwalis, ghazals and bhajans.
Chetan Rana, through his melodious voice and energetic moves, will take you on a nostalgic journey to celebrate the music of Kishore Kumar. Kishore was an Indian film playback singer, actor, lyricist, composer, producer and director and was considered one of the most successful playback singers of Bollywood.
The concert also features 3 amazing female singers Eshara Maharaj, Sharimaine Deol and Seleena Mohanlall and will be accompanied by SA’s leading showband, The Conchords, with spectacular dance routines by local dance acts. Lotus FM’s Zakia Ahmed Siddiqi will add her voice as compere to the evening.
