If you are between 18 and 70 years old, have a passion for marine conservation, free time during the week or weekend, can get to uShaka Sea World easily and are prepared to work for no salary, then this could be for you.

During May, the uShaka Sea World Education Centre will be accepting applications for new volunteers to work as Education Guides.
No academic qualifications, biological or educational experience is necessary as you will receive comprehensive training before taking up duties in the Aquarium or Dangerous Creatures exhibition. What we do need is enthusiasm, a passion for the environment and an ability to communicate with people of all ages. The ability to speak fluently in English is also essential.
Two presentations will be held at the uShaka Sea World Education Centre to explain how the volunteer programme works. One will be held in the morning on Thursday, May 3rd at 10h00 and the other in the evening on Tuesday, May 8th at 18h00
For more details, or to book your seat at one of the presentations, please contact Kathy Drummond on 031 328 8192 or email [email protected]
