Valentine’s Day is around the corner and Picodi.com conducted a survey among 11,000 people from 38 countries to learn what lovers expect on Valentine’s Day and how much money they are willing to spend on their significant others. Here are some of the results:
- An average South African will spend R716 on Valentine’s Day gift (20th place among researched countries)
- Women spend 11% more money on gifts than men
- Women chose flowers, jewellery and perfumes be the perfect Valentine’s Day gift
- Top gifts among men include food on delivery and dinner at a restaurant
