‘Falling Into Place’ is the new single from soon to be superstar Victor Ray, featuring Debbie. The third track to be revealed from his upcoming ‘i tried.’ EP, following viral hit ‘Comfortable’ and BBC Radio 1 supported ‘Halfway There’, it is another epic, irresistible song from an artist whose already huge fanbase is increasing by the day, with his total followers online now totaling over 4 million and views over 1 billion.
The EP’s release on 14th June will be preceded by a headline show at London’s LaFayette, which sold out in under 6 hours, and will be fresh off the back of Victor supporting man of the moment Teddy Swims on his UK tour and a performance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend for BBC Introducing.
Written from personal experience, the new single, as Victor explains “was inspired by the rush of emotions that you get when you meet a stranger that you know could end up becoming a lot more than that to you. I met someone who made me feel this way and I knew that it might not work out, but I chose to believe it will.” ‘Falling Into Place’ features up and coming soul star Debbie, who, in Victor’s word’s, “completed the song and ultimately made the song mean so much more”.
Speaking about the track, Debbie says
“I fell in love with the backing vocal stacks when I first heard “Falling into place” – it was a goosebump moment, so jumping on the track was a no brainer. I live for music that makes you feel something, this is exactly what the track does for me.”
The combination of the two powerhouse vocalists brings an additional perspective to the song and came about via Jake Tench (Lancey Foux), who produced the track with Victor. After inviting Debbie to perform with him in central London, Victor immediately knew he had to ask her to jump on ‘Falling Into Place’.
