Wes says “This record is a special one for me, it’s been a few months since my last release so wanted to make sure I came back with something I was totally happy with. I started writing it a couple of years ago on my own, then linked up with Ebenezer who sampled the iconic Diwali riddim for the beat. I was gassed! We finally finished it this year with French Montana who heard it and just wanted to jump on it which was mad to hear – linking up with him in New York was a lot of fun. I’ve really been taking the last few months to focus on my songwriting and performing across the UK.
