Westway Trust to Host First Ever Parents’ Fayre on 25 January 2024
London, UK – Westway Trust, a leading charitable organisation, dedicated to supporting the local community, is thrilled to announce its inaugural Parents’ Fayre, on 25 January 2024. This one-of-a-kind event will to provide parents with a unique opportunity to access information, support, and advice about babies, children and young people, aged 0 to 21 years-old. The Trust has made the event parent-accessible by holding a session between school drop-off and pick-up, as well as an evening session for those working in the day. So, no one will miss out!
The Parents’ Fayre, to be held at well-known North Kensington community space, The Tabernacle, will feature a diverse range of exhibitors, including both national and local organisations. These exhibitors will offer valuable resources and expertise on various topics, including:
0 to 4-year-olds: Talk from Maternity Champions. Advice on nurseries, support and activities.
5 to 11-year-olds: Talks on getting the best education for your child. Stalls about home schooling, private schooling, Special Educational Needs and activities outside of school.
12 to 16-year-olds: Your choices of education, advocacy, local youth activities and Early Help for families.
16+year-olds: What’s next? 6th form, apprenticeships, university, employment or something else?
One of the highlights of the event is the provision of a free crèche facility, ensuring parents can fully engage with the Fayres’ offerings. Additionally, free translators will be available on-site, to bridge any language barriers, ensuring that all attendees can fully participate and benefit from the event.
Venu Dhupa, CEO of Westway Trust, expressed her excitement about the upcoming Parent’s Fayre, saying, “Westway Trust has for many years delivered educational services and support for parents, including our nursery, Pop-Up Crèche, and adult learning programmes. We are also proud of the supplementary school network support offered in North Kensington, and our popular parenting courses.”
“The Parents’ Fayre reflects our Learning Team’s commitment to support local families. This event came about because of unmet need, and importantly compliments what is already happening in North Kensington.”
This Parent’s Fayre promises to be an enlightening and empowering event for parents in the local community. Westway Trust encourages all parents, guardians, and caregivers to mark their calendars for 25 January 2024 and make the most of this unique opportunity to connect with experts, gain knowledge, and find support.
